AirTrunk Secures Malaysia Campus Financing

AirTrunk secured $2.

3 billion in financing for its planned JHB2 data center campus in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, which is expected to provide more than 270MW across 520 hectares. The campus will sit beside JHB1, where capacity is planned to increase from 50MW to more than 150MW. The scale of the financing and the participation of 30 financial institutions support AirTrunk’s broader expansion in the Asia-Pacific market, while the loan’s alignment with Green Bond Principles adds environmental standards to the project’s funding structure.
