The 25th CII Energy Efficiency Summit in Hyderabad presented energy efficiency as a foundation for India's industrial competitiveness and net-zero transition. Participants emphasized combining efficiency measures with electrification, renewable energy, clean technologies, artificial intelligence, digital management and innovative finance. The summit launched the India Heat Pump Atlas, covering more than 2,200 industrial and commercial installations representing approximately 288 megawatts of thermal capacity, while also releasing thermal power benchmarking and sector-specific efficiency initiatives. Discussions addressed green steel, carbon-border requirements, cleantech commercialization and support for smaller manufacturers.
