Sudan Drone Operations

Sudan’s war has increasingly involved reported drone strikes and reconnaissance missions linked to the Rapid Support Forces, alongside Sudanese Armed Forces efforts to detect and intercept them.

Incidents have been reported around Khartoum and Omdurman, North Kordofan towns such as El Obeid, and Blue Nile locations including Kurmuk and Ed Damazin. The operations have affected military positions, airports, transport routes, and civilian infrastructure, including a reported school strike in El Obeid. Attribution is not uniform, however: some claims rely on military statements, while other drone incidents remain unidentified or independently unverified.
