Riot Converts Rockdale Campus for AI

Riot Platforms is repositioning its Rockdale, Texas, computer campus for AI computing by leasing 191 megawatts to a customer reported to be Anthropic under a 20-year agreement.

The contract could generate $9.1 billion in revenue, with potential extensions raising the value to $16.1 billion, while Riot has also secured a $573 million credit facility to fund expansion. Capacity is expected to be delivered in stages through 2028, making power availability, tenant demand, construction progress, and rising leverage key tests of the strategy.
