NV Energy-Tract Power Cost Fight

NV Energy is challenging Tract over the cost of serving two planned AI data center campuses near Reno that would require more than 2 gigawatts of power.

NV Energy says Tract should fund the generation and delivery upgrades rather than shift costs to residential and small-business customers, while Tract says the utility failed to plan for promised service and has sought nearly $1 billion in upgrades.
