Meta has begun operating a $1.

2 billion data center in Kuna, Idaho, after a four-year build that included redesigns for AI infrastructure and liquid cooling. The facility uses a closed-loop cooling system that requires little or no cooling-related water for most of the year, while Meta has also supported 645 megawatts of renewable energy and more than $100 million in local water and wastewater improvements. The opening makes the site a major new customer for Idaho Power and expands Meta's data center presence in the Boise area.
