Generac’s Amazon Deal Expands Generator Capacity
Coverage from AOL, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and others

Generac has agreed to supply Amazon with up to $8 billion in backup generators for data centers worldwide, including approximately $2.
4 billion of deliveries planned for 2027 and 2028. The agreement gives Generac longer-term production visibility as it expands large-megawatt manufacturing, facilities, and staffing in Wisconsin. It also reflects strong demand for backup power equipment associated with hyperscale data center construction, although the full value depends on future purchases.
