Canada’s AI Data-Center Buildout
Coverage from Forbes, Datacenter Dynamics, and others
Canada’s AI compute buildout combines large data-center projects with efforts to make computing resources more available to domestic users.
Bell AI Fabric draws on Bell’s network and data-center infrastructure, with a planned campus near Regina in Saskatchewan forming a major part of the construction picture. The campus has been described in phases, with closed-loop cooling and partner-developed power among its planned features. Federal initiatives such as the Compute Access Fund provide policy context by subsidizing compute access and favouring Canadian compute.
