Brookhaven’s Months-to-Minutes Grid Search

Brookhaven National Laboratory and Amazon Web Services announced a partnership to scale GridSearch, an AI-driven system that screens thousands of possible transmission-grid connection points for AI data centers and other new generation facilities.

The system is intended to reduce interconnection analysis from months or years to minutes or months by combining a grid foundation model with AWS computing and AI capabilities.
