Anthropic has agreed to a 20-year lease for AI computing capacity at TeraWulf’s planned Justified Data campus near Hawesville in Hancock County, Kentucky.

The project is designed to reach about 401 megawatts, with initial capacity targeted for the second half of 2027 and full operations targeted for 2028. It reuses a former aluminum-processing site with existing power and fiber infrastructure; reported plans also include closed-loop cooling. The lease and the financing and construction needed to deliver the campus are central to the project, alongside questions about power arrangements and local siting.
