AI Spending Meets Physical Limits
Coverage from AOL, Fortune, and others

Technology companies and AI developers are committing heavily to data centers, compute systems, and networking equipment, with NVIDIA and Broadcom among the suppliers reporting strong demand.
But announced capacity does not translate directly into operating capacity: projects still depend on available land, power, buildings, equipment, and construction schedules. Large spending plans and financing guarantees could support expansion, while leaving companies exposed if demand weakens or hardware loses value faster than expected.
