South Asia Expands Extreme Heat Preparedness

International and regional partners are launching two linked initiatives in South Asia to turn climate and weather information into health guidance, early warnings, and heat action planning.

Supported by $11.5 million from The Rockefeller Foundation and Wellcome, the programs will also study heat impacts across populations, locations, and occupations to develop more tailored risk thresholds.
