Oracle’s Texas Wind Power Deals

Oracle’s Texas clean-energy procurement links wind projects and supplier agreements to electricity demand from its AI and cloud infrastructure, including its Abilene AI data center.
The portfolio includes agreements with ENGIE North America and Scout Clean Energy, whose Ranchero Wind Farm in Crockett County is a 300-megawatt project. Some arrangements, such as virtual power purchase agreements, are financial contracts and do not mean that power from a specific wind farm flows directly to an Oracle facility. Together, the procurement supports Oracle’s goal of matching AI data-center electricity use with carbon-free electricity by 2035.
