Chile's Solar-Storage Asset Changes Hands

CVC DIF completed its acquisition of Gabriela, an operational 272 MW solar project paired with 1,100 MWh of battery storage in northern Chile, from Grenergy.

The $475 million transaction transfers the asset to an infrastructure investor while Grenergy retains operations and maintenance responsibilities for five years; a 15-year, U.S.-dollar-denominated, inflation-indexed power purchase agreement supports project revenues.
