S. AI policy demand, calling for safeguards against workplace surveillance, discriminatory algorithms, automated firing, and job displacement. At the same time, unions oppose broad data-center construction moratoriums, arguing that AI infrastructure can create well-paid union jobs if built with stronger labor and community requirements.
