USA DeBusk identified unauthorized access to certain systems beginning around September 5, 2025, and later determined that an outside party obtained files containing sensitive personal, financial, medical, health insurance, and login information.

One account characterizes the incident as a ransomware attack linked to the Embargo group, while the company has not publicly disclosed the number of affected individuals. USA DeBusk notified individuals and authorities, engaged cybersecurity specialists, strengthened safeguards, and offered two years of Kroll identity monitoring.
