River Bank Ransomware Data Breach

River Financial Corporation, parent of River Bank & Trust, disclosed that attackers accessed parts of its network on June 16, 2026, deployed ransomware, and exfiltrated certain data.

The company isolated affected systems, disabled compromised administrative accounts, and investigated whether personal information was accessed. River said the attackers represented that stolen data had been deleted, but independent verification, ransom-payment details, the scope of any personal-data exposure, and potential financial effects remained unresolved as lawsuits emerged.
