The Police National Legal Database disclosed a cyberattack that exposed names, organizations, work email addresses, and some public contact submissions linked to police, government, criminal justice, and other users in England and Wales.

ExfilSquad claimed responsibility and reportedly sought a ransom, while the Information Commissioner’s Office and National Crime Agency investigate; PNLD says passwords, credentials, and confidential victim, witness, or offender information were not affected.
