Forrestall CPAs, a Georgia-based accounting firm, reported that an unauthorized party accessed and copied files from its network between December 22 and December 30, 2025.

The firm began notifying potentially affected individuals in August 2026 and offered identity monitoring, while a legal investigation identified approximately 218 Massachusetts residents and possible exposure elsewhere. The types of information involved and the total number of affected people remain partly undisclosed, leaving potential risks of identity theft and financial fraud unresolved.
