Fiesta Insurance Data Breach
Coverage from Insurance Business, The National Law Review, and others

Fiesta Insurance Franchise Corporation reported that an unauthorized party accessed or acquired files in a cybersecurity incident identified in June 2025.
After an extended investigation and data review, the company determined in June 2026 that the files may have contained personal information, including Social Security numbers, financial account details, and health-related financial information. Notifications began in July 2026, and reporting identified at least 12,097 affected Texas residents, while some accounts described a larger potential population. The incident has raised questions about the timing of data identification and notification, the protections owed to affected people, and potential legal claims.
