Datavant Settles 2024 Data Breach Suit

Datavant Group, operated by Ciox Health, agreed to pay $900,000 to resolve claims tied to unauthorized access to an employee email account during a May 2024 phishing incident.

The breach potentially exposed identity, financial, and health information for approximately 58,309 people, while the settlement offers documented-loss payments of up to $5,000, pro rata cash payments, and identity or fraud monitoring. Final court approval was scheduled for September 4, 2026.
