Bits of Gold Third-Party Data Breach
Coverage from CTech, CryptoSlate, and others

Bits of Gold reported unauthorized access to an external analytics system used by the Israeli cryptocurrency broker, potentially exposing personal and financial information from roughly 200,000 to 250,000 customers.
Reported data includes names, identification numbers, contact details, IP addresses, bank-account information, and public wallet addresses, while the company said passwords, private keys, funds, and full payment-card data were not exposed. The incident highlights how third-party systems can expand the privacy and phishing risks surrounding regulated digital-asset platforms.
Reporting now narrows the estimated impact to 200,000–250,000 customers and adds specific exclusions, including passwords, scanned IDs, and complete card details. Several reports identify Metabase as the external provider, but that attribution remains unconfirmed.
