ARCC Data Breach Settlement
Coverage from AL.com, NJ.com, and others

Arrowhead Regional Computing Consortium has agreed to a proposed class-action settlement over unauthorized network access discovered in February 2023.
Plaintiffs alleged that the incident exposed names, Social Security numbers, and student educational records tied to about 65,379 people served through ARCC’s payroll and student data systems. If finally approved, eligible notice recipients may receive up to $80 for documented losses or time and two years of credit monitoring, with claims due October 8.
The current version largely confirms the prior account, with no material change to the settlement, alleged exposure, eligibility terms, or approval status.
