Swarm Aero Gamera

Swarm Aero’s Gamera is a proposed Group 5 uncrewed aircraft intended to combine long range, substantial payload capacity, modular mission systems, and autonomous operations.

The company describes a platform with a claimed 9,000-nautical-mile range, seven hardpoints, and capacity for weapons such as the Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile and JASSM-ER. Its Legion software is intended to let one operator supervise groups of aircraft rather than individually pilot each vehicle. Gamera is positioned as a lower-cost, attrition-tolerant alternative to platforms such as the MQ-9A Reaper and as a candidate for the Air Force’s Massed Modular Aircraft requirement, though its performance remains unverified because the aircraft has not yet flown.
