Serbia-Israel Combat Drones
Coverage from WTOP, CTech, and others
Serbia and Israeli defense partners are developing a combat-drone production network centered on assembly in Serbia.
The initiative involves state arms producer Yugoimport SDPR and Israel-based Elbit Systems, while Serbia’s Krusik weapons factory is expected to make warheads for the systems. The facility is intended to support Serbia’s armed forces and potentially foreign customers, with additional factories planned. The partnership illustrates how Serbia is building domestic military-production capacity through international defense cooperation.
