Lockheed Vectis

Vectis is Lockheed Martin Skunk Works’ Group 5 uncrewed combat aircraft, developed for autonomous or crewed-team operations with tactical aircraft such as the F-35.

Its tailless airframe and submerged engine inlet support a low-observable design, while proposed missions include precision strike, air-to-air and air-to-ground operations, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and counter-air. The program also emphasizes digital engineering and simplified manufacturing, with multiple prototypes intended to support testing and production validation. Vectis is being developed in the context of the broader Collaborative Combat Aircraft effort, but remains a distinct Lockheed platform.
