Israel’s counter-drone effort centers on defending troops, vehicles, air-defense assets, and infrastructure from hostile FPV and explosive drones, particularly Hezbollah systems guided by fiber-optic cables.
Because these drones emit few radio signals, Israeli responses combine optical, acoustic, radar, electro-optical, and other sensors with data-fusion software, alongside physical measures such as protective netting, shotguns, specialized ammunition, and fixed or vehicle-mounted interceptors.
