Israel’s counter-drone response addresses threats to troops, military assets and other locations, with Hezbollah’s fiber-optic FPV drones a prominent challenge.
Because these drones can operate with little or no radio signal, they are less vulnerable to conventional jamming and can be difficult to detect. Responses combine radar, optical and acoustic sensing with multisensor tracking, protective netting, close-range weapons, interceptors and directed-energy systems, alongside procurement and defense-industry development.
