Wildfire UAS

Wildfire is General Atomics Aeronautical Systems’ proposed long-endurance uncrewed aircraft for high-volume military operations and possible civil or commercial roles.

Its design emphasizes modular payloads, lower production costs, rapid fielding, attrition tolerance, and autonomous coordination of multiple aircraft. Intended missions include intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, strike, and cargo operations; proposed armament includes Long-Range Anti-Ship Missiles and Joint Strike Missiles. General Atomics has positioned Wildfire for the Defense Innovation Unit’s Massed Modular Aircraft competition and as a potential alternative to the MQ-9A Reaper.
