Coverage from sUAS News, Unmanned Systems Technology, and others

Veronte KAI, including its KAI 2.
0 iteration, is a flight-control computer developed by Embention for autonomous unmanned aircraft. Its navigation architecture combines inertial sensing with optical methods and other positioning inputs to support flight when GNSS is unavailable or disrupted; reported capabilities include visual odometry, terrain-map matching, target recognition, and terminal guidance. The system is intended for platforms including loitering munitions, one-way attack drones, and counter-UAS systems. Its development also involves aviation software and hardware standards such as DO-178C and DO-254.
