Drone LiDAR Mapping

Drone LiDAR mapping links airborne laser scanners with navigation, imaging, and point-cloud software to create detailed three-dimensional views of terrain, structures, and infrastructure.

GeoCue’s TrueView systems and LP360 software illustrate the integrated workflow, while Ouster sensors support colorized mapping and applications such as power-line and corridor surveys. Other platforms, including Flyability’s Elios 3, Emesent’s Hovermap systems, and Real-Time Robotics aircraft, extend mapping into mines, tunnels, industrial spaces, and GPS-challenged environments. The technology is used for surveying, construction, inspections, public safety, and other work requiring accurate geospatial data.
