Canada-Ukraine Drone Cooperation

Canada and Ukraine are developing defense cooperation centered on military drones and other uncrewed systems.
The arrangements pair Ukrainian battlefield experience and rapid design iteration with Canadian manufacturing, artificial-intelligence, procurement, and supply-chain capabilities. Canada has announced a national drone marketplace modeled on Ukraine’s Brave1 initiative, contracts intended to expand its military inventory, and plans to send a substantial share of new production to Ukraine. The cooperation also includes counter-drone technologies, interceptor systems, and industrial partnerships involving companies such as General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada and Green Tech Harvest.
